Derrick Maurice Sanderson is inspired by nature, people and current events. He has received numerous commissions for his art, particularly his whimsical nature paintings and continues to experience both creative and commercial success. The vivid color and shapes he utilizes speaks to the inner, child-like soul in all of us. Derrick specializes in illustrations, original paintings and drawings and his medium choices include pencil, watercolor, acrylic and pastels. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio Derrick relocated to Boston. His art has become popular and in demand in Boston and in MetroWest suburbs of the city.
